We have been with Job Planner since the start of 2024. We continued using our current PM software for existing projects and started 2024 projects in Job Planner, allowing a slower transition to Job Planner for our Project Management Team. The straightforward approach to the design of the platform has made the transition into Job Planner for our Project Managers very seamless. The functionality of the tools keeps the day-to-day paperwork moving with the ability to adjust notifications, so Owners, Architects, Subcontractors, and Suppliers are not overburdened with unnecessary emails.
The transition for our field staff was easy. Superintendents quickly picked up on the way the tools for the mobile app function.
The integration with Acumatica has gone well. JP’s Tech Support has been with us for the onboarding processes to address issues and questions with the connection between the two platforms and has continued to support us as we transition our staff to Job Planner.
One of the biggest benefits of Job Planner has been Tech Support. With our previous Project Management Software, there was a “team” that handled tech issues, and our questions would get passed from technician to technician, oftentimes elevating to the next level. We would have to repeat the questions 2 or 3 times to different people before finding someone that could help, sometimes setting on the phone for ½ hour only to find the issue needed to be elevated to another team, and we’d start over. With Job Planner, we can filter our questions thru Tech Support and they are directed to the appropriate person for a timely response.
Job Planner provides the tools needed to manage the day-to-day office and field tasks, along with the Job Cost Tools to manage the financial side of the Project.
